MILESTONE SESSION GUIDE
These sessions are such a joy- whether we're celebrating tummy time, first steps, or that precious first birthday, milestone sessions are all about preserving those fleeting in- between moments that fly by far too fast.
Location
Sessions can take place:
- In studio (clean, simple)
- Outdoors (golden light + soft neutral backdrops)
- In home (for a cozy, lifestyle feel = perfect for milestones like sitting or crawling)
What to Bring
- Outfit option: Neutrals and soft textures (Free access to kids wardrobe)
- Snacks and water: Think mess free snacks like puffs or fruit slices
- Favourite toy or comfort item: For reassurance or to make them laugh
- Wipes (I do provide those too if you forget)
- Birthday prop (if celebrating a birthday): A simple cake, wooden number or sentimental item is perfect
For cake smashes: Please bring a cake with soft frosting (avoid red or dark colours), a bib and change of clothes (if using your own). I will provide a towel.
What to Wear
Keep it simple and timeless.
- Neutral tones, earth colours or soft pastels
- No logos or busy patterns - we want little one to be the main focus
- Textures, like knits linen or muslin add a beautiful touch

Timing and Naps
Plan your session before lunch nap or after nap time to avoid crankiness. A well rested baby is a happy baby.
A note on Expectations
Little ones are unpredictable- and that's totally ok!
We'll play, cuddle, explore and take it at their pace. Sometimes the quietest moments turn out to be the most treasured.
After the Session
You'll receive your gallery within 2 weeks, where you can select your favourites based on your package. If your package includes prints or Polaroid, I'll arrange delivery once your final images are selected.
